Every noeys candle and ceramic piece is made slowly and intentionally, using premium materials designed to last. With the right care, your items will burn cleaner, age beautifully, and stay part of your daily rituals for a long time.

Candle Care

Before Each Burn

• Trim your wooden wick to 1/8–3/16 inch.

  • A shorter wick ensures a calm flame, prevents soot, and helps your candle last longer.

• Remove any loose wood pieces before lighting.

During the Burn

• Allow the candle to burn for 2–3 hours or until a full melt pool reaches the edges.
  This prevents tunneling and helps your candle burn evenly.

• Keep the candle on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, vents, and direct sunlight.

• Never burn your candle longer than 4 hours at a time.

Safety

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Keep away from children, pets, and fabric surfaces.

• Stop burning when about ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom.

After the Burn

• Let the wax fully cool before relighting or moving the vessel.

• If the flame becomes too large, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight.

Ceramics Care

Each piece is handmade and uniquely glazed, so slight variations are natural and part of their character. To keep them looking their best:

General Care

• Most noeys ceramics are dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended to keep glazes looking new.

• Avoid thermal shock (sudden changes in temperature).
  Example: don’t pour boiling water into a cold vessel.

Microwave Use

• Ceramics are generally microwave safe, unless otherwise indicated.

• Avoid microwaving pieces with metallic or decorative accents.

Stain Resistance

• For matte or lightly textured glazes, occasional staining can happen with oils or highly pigmented foods.
  Handwashing promptly helps prevent this.

Longevity Tips

• Use gentle, non-abrasive sponges to avoid dulling the glaze.

• For stubborn marks on the bottoms of pieces (from shelves or kitchen surfaces), use a soft eraser cleaning pad.
