what is ‘noeys’?

noeys is a small-batch candle and ceramics store built around calm, craftsmanship, and simple rituals. Every piece is hand-poured or hand-thrown in Toronto using premium materials and a soft, minimal aesthetic.

what wax do you use?

All noeys candles are made with a coconut–apricot blend chosen for its clean, slow burn and strong scent performance.

what wicks do you use?

We use FSC-certified wooden wicks that produce a soft crackle and even melt pool when trimmed properly.

are your candles clean burning?

Yes. Our waxes are toxin-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and cruelty-free. All fragrance oils are premium, IFRA-compliant, and safe for home use.

why does my candle flame look high sometimes?

Wood wicks burn best when trimmed to 1/8”–3/16” before each burn. A taller wick can create a higher flame or faster melt pool.

how strong is the scent?

noeys candles are designed to be soft, warm, and atmospheric — not overpowering. Scent throw varies by room size, airflow, and fragrance notes.

how long do your candles burn?

Burn time varies by vessel and wick, but most noeys candles burn between 35–60 hours with proper care.

how do I get the best burn?

• Trim the wick before each burn

• Burn for 2–3 hours at a time

• Keep away from drafts

• Stop burning when ½” wax remains

are your ceramic pieces microwave or dishwasher safe?

Most noeys ceramics are microwave and dishwasher safe unless noted otherwise.
Hand-washing is recommended to preserve the glaze and finish.

are your pieces handmade?

Yes. Each piece is individually thrown, trimmed, and glazed by hand. Variations in shape, colour, and texture are natural and add to the character of handmade pottery.

do you take custom pottery orders?

Custom orders open seasonally. When available, announcements will be posted on Instagram and our newsletter.

We currently ship across Canada and the U.S.

how long will my order take to ship?

Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. Handmade pottery or seasonal products may take longer during busy periods.

where do you ship from?

All noeys orders ship from Toronto, Canada.
